Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior network engineer to design, validate, and scale complex enterprise, data center, and cloud networking environments. You will independently craft network solutions, automate tasks, and contribute to incident response and RCA documentation.

You will lead testing strategies, monitor network health with dashboards, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure adherence to standards in a fast-paced setting in Austin or Reston.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, electrical engineering, cloud programming, or networking R&D.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related field; and 2+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s Degree in related fields.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with poly.
• Position based in Austin, TX or Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops standard network systems to support enterprise, data center, or cloud environments independently.
• Validates production networks and assists in scaling use cases independently.
• Collaborates with vendors and internal groups to validate network configurations and playbooks.
• Implements monitoring and alerting for network health; develops tools for frontline support teams.
