Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support a global network infrastructure for a leading quantitative trading and investment firm in Chicago.

You will drive automation initiatives, manage connectivity across data centers and cloud environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and performance in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with BGP, OSPF, multicast, and data center networking.
• Experience with spine-leaf architectures in large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure networking.
• Hands-on with Python, Ansible, NetBox, Terraform, and related automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale data center, cloud, and trading connectivity projects while driving network automation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
