Job summary

Gcore is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to design and implement automation for scalable, reliable networking infrastructure. You will build tooling and pipelines that improve performance, reliability, and scalability across global edge and cloud environments.

You’ll work with cutting-edge tech, integrate with DevOps practices, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to automate and optimize complex network operations.

Qualifications

• Background in networking (TCP/IP, IP routing)
• Experience with Unix-based systems administration
• Experience with network vendor devices (Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Nokia) and their automation interfaces

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain software for network management and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed automation in pipelines.
• Drive automation across software development, release, and ops.
• Research trends in network automation to boost efficiency.
• Support Linux environments and containerized services.
