Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a Mid-Level Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust automation infrastructure for networking and systems. You will leverage Ansible, Terraform, Python, and REST APIs to provision, configure, and manage complex environments.

Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, self‑healing solutions and contribute to internal tooling and CI/CD reliability. The role emphasizes hands-on automation with modern tech stacks and opportunities for mentorship and growth

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience in IT automation, DevOps, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Secret clearance with Tier 5 investigation (ability to obtain).
• Hands-on production experience with Ansible and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of core networking concepts and automation of hardware/virtual devices.
• Strong Python scripting and API integration experience.
• Linux/Unix system administration, Git, and CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows for infrastructure and networking.
• Develop scripts (Python) and integrate with REST APIs for third‑party services.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration, and state validation.
• Collaborate with engineering/operations to architect scalable, self‑healing infra.
• Create custom tooling for internal automation portals and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance of CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliability.
• Mentor juniors and promote coding best practices with documentation.
