Zusammenfassung

The North Carolina Department of Information Technology – Transportation (NCDIT-T) is seeking a Network Analyst I to support the Network Field Services team with hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across NC DOT/DMV facilities. Travel statewide is required, and responsibilities include documentation, site surveys, and SME guidance.

Ideal candidates bring Cisco switching expertise, networking knowledge, and experience leading projects on-site; a related degree with experience

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT field from an accredited institution OR Associate degree in CS or related field and one year networking experience OR High School/GED and four years of networking-related experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply per the guide.

Aufgaben

Support LAN connectivity, Cisco switches, copper/fiber cabling, racks, patch panels, UPS equipment, circuit installations, site relocations, renovations, and new facility deployments.
May serve as onsite technical lead or site supervisor for Network Field Services projects and deployments.
Mentor junior Network Technicians, provide direction, troubleshooting, and oversight to ensure standards are met.
Produce detailed site survey reports, Visio diagrams, rack elevations, floor plans, cable-path diagrams, and as-built documentation.
