Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Information Technology – Transportation (NCDIT-T) seeks a Network Analyst I to support the Network Field Services team. Travel statewide is required to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and document network infrastructure across DOT and DMV facilities.

Responsibilities include LAN connectivity, Cisco switches, copper/fiber, racks, patch panels, site surveys, and creating technical documentation such as Visio diagrams and as-built plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination for networking roles.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco switches and VLANs.
• Ability to conduct network site surveys and produce documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support LAN connectivity and cabling across facilities.
• Serve as onsite technical lead for field projects and deployments.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide technical direction.
• Create site survey reports, rack elevations, and Visio diagrams.
