Job summary

Ole Mexican Foods is seeking a Network Administrator to manage IT-network infrastructure, including servers and equipment. The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Nortel, and other networking gear, plus strong TCP/IP and routing knowledge.

Responsibilities include monitoring, upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and coordinating with the MIS team. A degree in Networking/CS/IT and 2–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-3 years of network administration experience.
• Experience with Linux and Windows servers and network monitoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Ethernet, SONET, switching and routing protocols (BGP/OSPF).

Responsibilities

• Perform network administration duties including installations, debugging, maintenance, upgrades, and support for Cisco, Juniper, HP, Nortel, and Extreme equipment.
• Evaluate, test, and deploy software/hardware upgrades to networking infrastructure.
• Configure and deploy core and peripheral network devices; continuously learn new devices.
• Monitor all network devices/services to ensure high availability and SLA adherence.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and maintain documentation for processes.
