Job summary

Delaware Park is seeking a Network Infrastructure Specialist to maintain and improve our IT backbone. You will manage switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, and related systems, ensuring high availability and performance for critical business operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco LAN/WAN, VPNs, and security devices, plus Windows Server and virtualization. You will work with vendors, participate in on-call rotations, and support ongoing upgrades and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in network, systems, or IT infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience with Cisco LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies; Nexus/NX-OS experience preferred.
• CCNA-level knowledge required; current CCNA certification preferred.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN, and network segmentation.
• Experience with enterprise firewall and network security technologies; Cisco ASA and/or Firepower preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Working knowledge of VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V, enterprise storage, server hardware, and backup/recovery technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Participation in the on-call rotation and after-hours support is required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health, performance, and availability of network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless).
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VLAN, wireless, firewall, and VPN technologies.
• Support Windows Server environments, virtualization, storage, and backup/recovery systems.
• Research and troubleshoot network/infrastructure problems and determine action for recovery.
• Assist with cybersecurity configuration, monitoring, patching, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain infrastructure monitoring tools, documentation, diagrams, inventories, and records.
• Perform routine diagnostics and preventive maintenance to identify deficiencies.
• Collaborate with third-party engineers and vendors on upgrades and projects.
• Participate in infrastructure improvements and capital projects; provide technical assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
