Job summary

Hope For Youth, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator to support our Long Island teams. This full-time role covers Active Directory, Microsoft 365, MFA, Azure/Entra ID, and day-to-day IT help desk across Amityville and remote staff.

You will collaborate with our external IT contractor on server maintenance, cybersecurity, and infrastructure projects. The position emphasizes hands-on, service-oriented problem solving, documentation, and training for staff.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related IT experience in network environments and end-user support.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration and licensing, and Duo MFA.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and network topology.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows 11, hardware, software, printers, and end‑user technology.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Active Directory including user accounts, permissions, security groups, and access management.
• Support Microsoft 365 administration including user accounts, licensing, permissions, and troubleshooting.
• Administer Duo MFA and Azure/Entra ID integration.
• Coordinate with external IT contractor on server maintenance, cybersecurity, and infrastructure needs.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless).
• Provide Level 1 IT Help Desk support across all locations and remote staff.
• Review and prioritize Help Desk requests and escalate to Level 2/3 as needed.
• Assist with IT policies, disaster recovery planning, and staff training.
