Your Role as a Network Administrator

In this position, you’ll serve as a vital technical resource, ensuring seamless connectivity, proactive monitoring, and swift resolution of network challenges. You’ll use your expertise to help design, implement, and maintain network configurations—contributing to a user-focused, secure, and scalable environment that keeps our customers and employees connected to the possibilities of the future.

What You’ll Do

Design and Implement: Plan network configurations for LAN, WAN, and cloud environments, ensuring scalability and top-tier performance.

Proactive Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues before they escalate, minimizing downtime.

Troubleshoot & Resolve: Act as a critical escalation point for connectivity issues, guiding swift resolution to maintain maximum uptime.

Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols, support audits, and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.

Change Management: Oversee hardware and software upgrades, coordinating seamlessly with other teams to minimize disruptions.

Documentation & Reporting: Keep meticulous records of configurations, changes, and performance metrics.

Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with cross-functional teams to improve our network and mentor junior administrators, fostering a culture of shared expertise.

What You Bring to the Team

Technical Mastery: 7+ years’ experience in network administration, strong knowledge of Cisco IOS (including OSPF, BGP/MP-BGP, and VPN technologies), plus Unix/Linux/Windows/VM server environments.

Certifications & Skills: CCNP (or equivalent) is preferred; CCNA minimum. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is an asset.

Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated ability to manage high-priority incidents (Priority 1) calmly and effectively, ensuring rapid service restoration.

Strong Communicator: Adept at translating technical details into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders and team members.

Organized & Detail-Oriented: Skilled in balancing multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Collaboration & Leadership: Experience guiding junior staff and working with cross-functional teams to drive successful network initiatives.
