Zusammenfassung

AdventHealth is seeking a detailed Scheduling Specialist to verify patient data and insurance, ensuring accurate billing and smooth patient flow. You will handle inquiries, refer complex issues to administration, and manage referrals in designated workqueues for assigned specialties.

In this role, you will build strong relationships with patients and staff in a virtual setting, schedule appointments, and maintain schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ medical office or medical call center experience.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and authorization processes.
• Proficient with MS Office and email communications.

• Transfers callers to appropriate departments or locations when necessary.
• Registers new patients by inputting demographic and insurance information.

Job Description:

• Proficient with computer programs: Email, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

• [Required] Certified in effective scheduling of designated service lines and specialties.
• [Required] Comprehension of medical terminology and procedures for designated specialties.
• [Required] Understanding of insurance verification and authorization processes.
• [Required] Knowledge of EHR.
• [Preferred] Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully accomplish the assigned duties and responsibilities of the position.

• [Required] Work Experience: 1+ medical office or medical call center setting experience.
• [Preferred] Previous customer service experience.

Pay Range: $16.30 - $26.08
