Job summary

Leidos Digital Modernization Sector seeks a Journeyman NetOps Engineer to join MacDill AFB, FL, supporting JCSE. The role focuses on daily operations, design of new capabilities, system assessments, and hands-on engineering support in a demanding military environment.

You will troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensure documentation, and implement approved upgrades, with 24x7 operational coverage including 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification required.
• CCNA certification required.
• HS Diploma and 5+ years of experience.
• Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational routing and switching support with Cisco Routers and Switches.
• Troubleshoot routing protocols and network performance from LAN through WAN to CAN.
• Cross-train and support multiple technologies including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.
• Adhere to DoD standards, cybersecurity policies, and related directives.
• Document outages and network changes using ticketing systems.
• Resolve a wide range of network infrastructure issues and anomalies.
• Support 24x7 Network Operations including 12-hour shifts as required.
