Responsibilities include:

1. Managing and maintaining NetApp storage infrastructure for optimal performance and availability.
2. Monitoring storage systems and proactively resolving issues.
3. Collaborating with network and server teams for seamless integration.
4. Configuring and optimizing storage systems to meet data management needs.
5. Developing backup and disaster recovery plans.
6. Creating and editing Standard Operating Instructions (SOI).
7. Installing and configuring software applications.
8. Providing IT support across software, network, and server environments.
9. Ensuring compliance with data security policies.
10. Training and mentoring junior team members.
11. Supporting a security clearance process, requiring US citizenship and a Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications include:

1. Final Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
2. Experience as a Storage Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineer with a focus on storage technologies (NetApp).
3. 8570 Certification (e.g., Security+) within 6 months of start date.
4. Experience with NAS/SAN storage, NetApp OnTap, data migrations, troubleshooting, high availability, and data backup technologies.
5. Strong understanding of object storage, distributed systems, and data management.
6. Familiarity with cloud storage and hybrid cloud environments.

The position supports remote work (<50%), with a work schedule of 9x80 every other Friday off, based at Kings Bay, GA. The role requires US citizenship, a Top Secret clearance, and is classified as mid-senior level, part-time in the Information Technology field within the Defense and Space Manufacturing industry.
