Lead Ramp Agent (Frontier Airlines - Flight Benefits) Full Time - $17.25/HR *(PLUS up to $1.50 in tenure increase)

Join Menzies Aviation LATAM as a Lead Ramp Agent and enjoy flight benefits and competitive pay. This role involves leading the outbound bag room, loading and unloading luggage, freight, and cargo on commercial aircraft, and operating small specialized vehicles. The position requires physical effort including heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching, all performed in accordance with safety standards and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
  • Safely lift/move cargo and baggage weighing up to 70 lbs, transporting between aircraft, terminals, and cargo facilities.
  • Lead and assist in cargo and baggage movement, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Operate motorized equipment and interpret aircraft load sheets, manifests, and routing tags.
  • Ensure safe receipt and dispatch of flights, maintaining load integrity and safety compliance.
  • Support and train fellow ramp agents, adhering to company and airline standards.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions and perform additional duties as assigned.
Safety, Security, and Compliance

All employees must prioritize health and safety, comply with international aviation standards, report hazards, and participate in training and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Prior ramp or airline experience required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, or six months of ramp experience.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including drug screening.
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Valid US driver’s license with no violations in the past 5 years.
  • Capable of lifting 70 lbs continuously and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badges and pass FBI background checks.
