Job summary

The role requires travel across Missouri and bordering states, with on-call duty, and proficiency in transformer and circuit breaker testing. NETA III or IV certification preferred; 5+ years relevant experience; valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience performing switchgear testing and troubleshooting.
• NETA Certification (III or IV) or Electrician license preferred.
• Proficiency with testing equipment for transformers, relays, and switchgear.
• Must be able to travel locally and regionally, and pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites (industrial & commercial) to inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up, and collect data on LV–HV electrical systems.
• Perform instrument transformer tests and power transformer testing (Doble, TTR, insulation resistance, etc.).
• Conduct cable testing (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot) and ATS troubleshooting.
• Calibrate relays and perform power metering; respond to emergencies on-call as needed.
