Job summary

Shermco Industries is seeking a NETA Field Service Technician to support customer sites across industrial and commercial electrical systems. You will inspect, test and troubleshoot low to high voltage equipment, perform power transformer and relay tests, and collect data for analysis.

The role requires travel, on-call rotation, and adherence to safety standards. Strong electrical knowledge and tool experience, including PowerDB and Excel, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in EPC or EE, or equivalent military training.
• NETA Certification (I–IV) or similar preferred.
• 2+ years of switchgear testing experience.
• Proficient PC skills including email, data entry, and Excel; PowerDB a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and start-up low to high voltage electrical systems on customer sites.
• Perform transformer and relay testing and data collection.
• Test switchgear and circuit breakers; troubleshoot relays.
• Rotate emergency on-call and respond to customer emergencies.
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures.
