Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment used in power transmission, distribution and generation at customer facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components in a substation.
• Assist in Transformer, Cable, and Circuit Breaker testing.
• Participate in installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and training.
