Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Manager-Reimbursement for a remote role focused on maximizing governmental reimbursement through Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting and audit support. You will coordinate monthly analyses of revenue deductions and A/R reserves and drive projects assigned by the Director of Reimbursement.

The role requires a BS in business, accounting, or finance and at least five years in a healthcare setting with staff management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• 5 years of progressive development within a healthcare environment including experience managing staff.
• Effective communication skills with peers and upper management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
• Understanding of the net revenue month-end closing process.

Responsibilities

• Maximize governmental reimbursement through supervision of Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting and audit support.
• Coordinate monthly calculation and analysis of revenue deductions and A/R reserves.
• Coordinate various projects as deemed necessary by the Director, Reimbursment.
