Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using the Microsoft .NET framework, ASP.NET Core, and C#. You will support the full software lifecycle and collaborate with analysts, PMs, testers, architects, and other developers to deliver reliable software that meets business needs and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing and maintaining .NET applications.
• Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework/Core, EF, RESTful APIs, and OOP concepts.
• Experience using Visual Studio and source-control tools like Git or Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data access patterns.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and deployment considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain back-end code using .NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, and EF.
• Design APIs, services, and data access layers to meet business needs.
• Write clean, well-documented code following security and quality standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, PMs, testers, architects, and developers to plan work.
• Troubleshoot, test, and resolve defects; support deployment and operations.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation updates.
• Support cloud-hosted development and AWS deployments when applicable.
