Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Nesting III for Centerville, IA, to support Operations with nested layouts for cutting equipment and offline programs for forming equipment. You will develop and maintain software automation, data collection, and dashboards to streamline manual processes.

Candidates should have ten years in manufacturing, solid CAD/CAM/automation tool experience, and strong data reporting skills.

Qualifications

Associates degree in a technical field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 with advanced knowledge of Excel.
Advanced knowledge of CAD software Solid Edge or Solid Works; CAM software SigmaNest or MetaCAM.

Responsibilities

Producing nested layouts for laser, turret and CNC router based on production demand.
Produce offline programs for press brakes and panel bender based on production demand.
Maintain electronic parts library ensuring revision control.
Maintain a balanced workload at cutting and forming equipment.
Develop/support software automation tools to perform data collection, create dashboards and tools to improve manual process.
Create/maintain documentation for automation tools
Perform data collecting and report out metrics to members of the Operations Team
Provide Continuous Improvement support for all areas of the business undefined
