Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Advanced knowledge of CAD software Solid Edge or Solid Works given preferential consideration
• Advanced knowledge of CAM software SigmaNest or MetaCAM given preferential consideration
• Proficient in Visual Studio with emphasis in C# and VB.NET
• Proficient in SQL building DB, developing advanced queries and stored procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, developing dashboards

Responsibilities

• Producing nested layouts for laser, turret and CNC router based on production demand.
• Produce offline programs for press brakes and panel bender based on production demand.
• Maintain electronic parts library ensuring revision control.
• Maintain a balanced workload at cutting and forming equipment.
• Develop/support software automation tools to perform data collection, create dashboards and tools to improve manual process.
• Create/maintain documentation for automation tools
• Perform data collecting and report out metrics to members of the Operations Team
• Provide Continuous Improvement support for all areas of the business

Job Title: Nesting III

FLSA Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt

Location: Centerville, IA

Department: Manufacturing & Operations

Reports to: Manufacturing Technology Manager

What we are looking for:

This position provides production support for our Operations team with an emphasis on Sheet Metal and Woodshop, creating nested layouts for cutting equipment and offline programs for forming equipment. Develop and maintain software automation systems; streamlining manual processes and perform data collecting. In addition to production support the position will participate in Continuous Improvement activities aligning with the businesses annual operating plan.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:
