Job summary

Dover Corp in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced CAD programmer to design nests and programs for metal parts using JetCAM and NC Express. You will administer the DMM ordering system, validate part libraries, and drive waste-reduction initiatives while supporting production needs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting software and DMM issues, routing new parts, and delivering OTC and production reports. Weekend programming support is required on a rotation basis.

Qualifications

• Must have strong CAD programming and nesting software experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and working with forming equipment preferred.
• Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office; strong PC skills.
• 5+ years CAD programming/nesting software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program parts and create nests using JetCAM and NC Express.
• Use and administer the DMM ordering system.
• Validate libraries of parts.
• Develop waste-reduction implementations.
• Troubleshoot programming and DMM issues.
• Determine routing for new parts.
• Communicate IT needs to IT department and follow up.
• Coordinate with software support on issues and upgrades.
• Run OTC and production reports.
• Provide weekend programming support on a rotation basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to communicate status of assigned projects to supervisors.
