Job summary

Apellis Pharmaceuticals seeks an Account Manager, Neph in Oklahoma/Arkansas/Northern Louisiana territories. You will represent Apellis to key accounts, build trust in our science, and lead account plans with cross-functional teams to optimize patient access and market share.

You will develop deep account relationships, map referral networks, and drive revenue by meeting sales objectives while collaborating with leadership and field teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of biotech/pharma sales and account management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Experience in Nephrology, Hematology/Oncology or rare disease market preferred.
• Strong ability to develop and execute account plans and map key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proficiency in disease states, patient and clinic experience, market landscape, and product.
• Drive revenue by achieving sales objectives and goals.
• Serve as primary commercial interface with key accounts and ensure customer experience.
• Develop relationships with physicians, nurses, and office staff; coordinate with HQ resources.
• Execute business plans for key accounts aligning with national strategy.
• Travel up to 75% domestically as needed.
