Job summary

University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Nephrology Division in an outpatient clinic setting at the Fairview Fridley and Riverside campuses. The role focuses on outpatient nephrology care, caring for a broad range of kidney conditions, with the option to participate in periodic inpatient coverage.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited PA or Adult NP program, possess MN RN license or prescriptive authority through

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
• Current MN RN license with prescriptive writing privileges or PA license with prescriptive authority in MN.
• Eligible for NCCPA, ANCC or AANP certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in nephrology or related specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient nephrology care for patients at Fairview Fridley and Riverside clinics.
• Care for new and established patients with a broad range of acute and chronic kidney conditions.
• Participate in periodic inpatient nephrology coverage based on division needs.
• Collaborate with nephrologists and advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive care.
