Job summary

Essentia Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Duluth Clinic Nephrology team. The role emphasizes high-level patient assessment, collaboration with MDs, and involvement in dialysis across three phases of nephrology care.

The position requires Minnesota or Wisconsin licensure, CPR certification, and national certification in the relevant field. Travel between clinic and hospital settings is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing or Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current MN & WI NP/PA licensure and CPR certification.
• National certification in applicable area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nephrology care with a team of physicians and APPs.
• Assist in inpatient and outpatient renal care, including dialysis rounds.
• Provide high-quality patient care with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
