Responsibilities

• Registers patients for appointments by collecting demographics and insurance information.
• Greets, directs, and assists patients to facilitate care.
• Answers telephone to schedule appointments, take messages, and direct calls to staff.
• Prepares records by reviewing EMR/chart contents to accelerate patient care.
• Handles insurance inquiries and referrals and submits exam charges in a timely manner.
• Distributes written communications and documents accurately.
• Provides care appropriate to the age of the patient per Population Specific Criteria.
