Avel eCare, a leader in telemedicine, is seeking a Nephrologist to join our Specialty Clinic as a PRN / 1099 Independent Contractor. The role enables remote practice across the U.S. and supports underserved populations with access to nephrology expertise.

Hours are 16 per week, non-exempt, with reports to the Medical Director. Telemedicine familiarity is preferred; active license in any state is required (Colorado preferred).

Qualificações

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active DEA certification.
• Board Certification/Board Eligible in Nephrology.
• At least one unrestricted state license (Colorado preferred).

SUMMARY

Avel eCare, a leader in delivering specialty telemedicine across the U.S., is seeking a Nephrologist to join our Specialty Clinic team as a PRN / 1099 Independent Contractor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide remote outpatient consults through secure telemedicine platforms.
• Review patient information and develop appropriate care recommendations.
• Collaborate with on‑site clinical teams to coordinate next steps in care.
• Document visits clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Follow Avel’s established telehealth workflows to ensure smooth and professional consults.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• MD or DO degreerequired.
• A minimum of 1 year practice experiencein Nephrology.
• Telemedicine experience preferred but not required.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS

• Active DEA certificationandBoard Certification/Board Eligible in Nephrology.
• At leastone unrestricted state license(any state in the U.S.). Colorado license is preferred.
