Job summary

Avel eCare, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is seeking a Dermatologist to join our Specialty Clinic as a PRN/1099 Independent Contractor. This role offers remote practice across the United States and the flexibility of PRN scheduling to help underserved populations access dermatology expertise.

You will provide remote outpatient consults, review patient information, coordinate with on-site teams, and document visits clearly.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of Dermatology practice experience.
• Telemedicine experience preferred.
• Active DEA certification and Dermatology board status.

SUMMARY

Avel eCare, a leader in delivering specialty telemedicine across the U.S., is seeking a Dermatologist to join our Specialty Clinic team as a PRN / 1099 Independent Contractor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide remote outpatient consults through secure telemedicine platforms.
• Review patient information and develop appropriate care recommendations.
• Collaborate with on-site clinical teams to coordinate next steps in care.
• Document visits clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Follow Avel’s established telehealth workflows to ensure smooth and professional consults.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• MD or DO degreerequired.
• A minimum of 1 year practice experiencein Dermatology.
• Telemedicine experience preferred but not required.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS

• Active DEA certificationandBoard Certification/Board Eligible in Dermatology.
• At leastone unrestricted state license(any state in the U.S.). Colorado license is preferred.
