Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Minimum 1 year practice experience in Gastroenterology.
• Telemedicine experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote outpatient consults through secure telemedicine platforms.
• Review patient information and develop appropriate care recommendations.
• Collaborate with on-site clinical teams to coordinate next steps in care.
• Document visits clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Follow Avel’s established telehealth workflows to ensure smooth and professional consults.

SUMMARY

Avel eCare, a leader in delivering specialty telemedicine across the U.S., is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our Specialty Clinic team as a PRN / 1099 Independent Contractor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide remote outpatient consults through secure telemedicine platforms.


• Review patient information and develop appropriate care recommendations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Active DEA certificationandBoard Certification/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
