Job summary

Avel eCare seeks a Nephrologist to join our Specialty Clinic as a PRN / 1099 Independent Contractor. This remote role delivers nephrology care to underserved populations via telemedicine.

You will provide outpatient consultations, have schedules provided about two weeks in advance, collaborate with on-site teams, and document visits clearly following telehealth workflows to ensure high-quality care. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with an active, unrestricted medical license.
• DEA certification.
• Telemedicine experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote outpatient consults through secure telemedicine platforms.
• Review patient information and develop appropriate care recommendations.
• Collaborate with on-site clinical teams to coordinate next steps in care.
• Document visits clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Follow Avel’s established telehealth workflows to ensure smooth and professional consults.
