Job summary

Stantec Government Services (GS) seeks an experienced coordinator focused on environmental planning and admin support to assist Range Management at MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, CA. The role requires NEPA knowledge and the ability to manage REIR submissions and NEPA documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEPA processes (CATEX, EA, EIS) and environmental documentation.
• Experience providing administrative and logistical support in a government context.
• Ability to review documents for compliance and draft memos.
• Strong organization and attention to detail in coordinating meetings and records.

Responsibilities

• Providing full-time support to the Range Development Section to ensure NEPA compliance.
• Facilitating meetings and preparing meeting minutes for the Range Development Section.
• Reviewing decision memorandums and preparing compliance memorandums.
• Reviewing NEPA documentation and proposing solutions for coverage gaps.
• Preparing REIRs and submitting through PAMS system.
• Drafting administrative materials including statements of purpose, actions, and mitigation measures.
• Recommending efficient processes to reduce redundancies in NEPA compliance.
• Coordinating and conducting the annual Environmental Compliance program.
• Drafting NEPA documentation, memos, and reports in support of NEPA actions.
• Monitoring DM terms and preparing compliance memorandums at project conclusion.
• Preparing basic maps to support REIRs and supporting mitigation monitoring for training.
• Attending NEPA meetings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
