Job summary

Pape-Dawson is seeking a Senior Environmental Manager to support NEPA and ESA projects. You will coordinate and author environmental assessments, habitat plans, and regulatory filings, including 401/404 permits.

Responsibilities include managing projects, engaging stakeholders, and developing new work for the Environmental Group. Strong writing and communication skills are essential, with experience in environmental regulations a must.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience preparing environmental assessments for regulatory audiences (e.g., CWA 404, ESA 10, NEPA).
• BA/BS in environmental sciences, transportation planning, environmental planning or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with NEPA/ESA processes and environmental regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with stakeholder and client engagement, budgets, and deliverable quality.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, regulators, and stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Develop business by pursuing RFQs, proposals, and identifying growth areas for the Environmental Group.
• Utilize field data to document conclusions concisely and prepare permit applications and filings.
• Prepare client-facing deliverables, status reports, and habitat assessments.
