Job summary

UP Health System-Marquette, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for its 21-bed Level III NICU in Marquette, MI. The candidate will work 6am–6pm in the facility and 6pm–6am on-call, seven days on service, with an average census of 8–12, and will join the transport team using Cerner EMR.

Board certification is required. The compensation package includes a competitive salary with sign-on and relocation, paid time off and 401K with 3% match, comprehensive health benefits,

Qualifications

• Neonatal NP with board certification is required.
• Experience with critical neonatal care and transport is preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 21-bed Level III NICU.
• Take first call and participate in patient transport.
• Document patient care in Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on newborn care.

Position Details

6am-6pm in the facility, 6pm-6am on-call, 24 hours a day.

7 days on- service Sunday to Sunday

Average census 8 to 12

Takes first call

Active member of the transport team

21 Bed level lll NICU without surgical sub-specialties, Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pneumothorax, Sepsis, Seizures, Stabilize surgical cases for transport out, VLBW, NAS
