Job summary

UP Health System-Marquette in Marquette, MI seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join Lifepoint Health in a 21-bed Level III NICU. The role involves 6am–6pm in the facility with 6pm–6am on-call, seven days on service Sunday to Sunday, caring for newborns including VLBW and NAS, stabilizing surgical cases for transport, and first-call responsibilities.

Board certification is required; Cerner EMR is used for documentation and orders, with a collaborative care model in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Nurse Practitioner license and board certification in neonatal care.
• Minimum experience in neonatal settings is preferred.
• Must be able to work 6am–6pm with on-call shifts and 24/7 coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for neonates in a Level III NICU.
• Stabilize surgical cases for transport to higher care when needed.
• Participate in the transport team and first-call duties.
• Work with Cerner EMR for charting and orders.
