Job summary

The University of Chicago’s Department of Pediatrics, Section of Neonatology, seeks full-time faculty at any rank to provide clinical care in the Comer Children's Hospital NICU and at off-site locations. Duties include teaching and supervision of trainees, scholarly activity, and collaboration on quality improvement and research projects.

Academic rank and compensation depend on qualifications; benefits are provided. Eligible for licensure in Illinois and Indiana.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Medical licensure eligibility in Illinois and Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in the Comer Children's Hospital NICU and affiliated locations.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and students.
• Engage in scholarly activity and quality-improvement initiatives.
