Job summary

The University of Chicago invites applications for full-time faculty positions in Neonatology, at the level of any rank. Appointees will provide clinical coverage in the Comer Children's Hospital NICU and at contracted off-site locations. Responsibilities include teaching trainees, supervising students, and engaging in scholarly activities.

Academic rank and compensation depend on qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible with access to comprehensive health, retirement, and paid time

Qualifications

• Must have medical doctorate or equivalent and be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois/Indiana.
• Board certified or Board eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Experience in quality improvement, patient outcomes, or EMR data analysis is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage in the NICU at Comer Children's Hospital and affiliated sites.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and students.
• Engage in scholarly activities and research supported by grants.
• Contribute to departmental teaching, policy development, and quality initiatives.
