Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neonatologist to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. The on-site role includes supervising residents, consulting high-risk antepartum patients, and covering deliveries with Residents during weekdays and high-risk deliveries during evenings and overnights.

The package includes a base salary of $250,000 (board eligible) to $260,000 (board certified) with a total compensation package worth about $370,520–$381,520 depending

• Board certification in Pediatrics, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine eligibility or certification, and an active NY medical license.
• BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Function as the on-site senior medical physician providing clinical and technical assistance, as needed.
• Consult on high-risk antepartum patients in Labor & Delivery.
• Attend all deliveries with Residents during weekdays.
• Attend all high-risk deliveries during evenings and overnights.
• Supervise and teach residents and medical students.
• Provide on-call coverage (weeknights, weekends, and holidays) as assigned by the Departmental call schedule.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $250,000* (board eligible); $260,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $370,520** (board eligible) and $381,520** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
