Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Neonatal certified PA to join the Neonatology team at Dearborn NICU. You will support care for critically ill newborns, attend high-risk deliveries, and handle 12/24-hour shifts with multidisciplinary rounds.

The role requires a Master's in PA studies with neonatal specialization, MI license, and BLS. You will collaborate with neonatologists and APPs to provide evidence-based care and ensure safe patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PA studies with neonatal specialization.
• 1–3 years' experience as a Physician Assistant in a neonatal setting preferred.
• Michigan PA license required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical and psychosocial status of neonatal patients with exams and history.
• Collaborate with neonatology team to formulate and implement treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications, blood products, and therapies per protocols.
• Coordinate with physicians and team for optimal patient care and transfers.
• Provide on-call coverage and participate in rounds and handoffs.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust care plans to meet continuing needs.
