Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced RN to join the Pediatric Transport Team in Illinois. This full‑time role is 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) with a 7pm–7am schedule, rotating weekends and holidays.

You will monitor, triage, and manage care for neonatal/pediatric patients in transit, collaborate with referring and receiving facilities, and lead by example in safety and documentation. The role requires a BSN, current Illinois RN license, and strong critical care and transport knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of nursing experience with focus on critical care.
• BSN required; RN license current and in good standing.
• Interfacility transport experience preferred; pediatric emphasis valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing monitoring and interventions in transit per protocols.
• Serve as expert in neonatal/pediatric transport in mobile environments.
• Coordinate with referring/receiving facilities and TMCP for care plans.
• Administer medications per standing orders and ensure safety.
• Lead transport team in safety, documentation, and quality initiatives.
