Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Cedar Park, Texas, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (Neo/Peds) to support critical care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages. You will manage respiratory equipment, perform specialized procedures, and ensure quality patient care.

The role requires NBRC RRT, Texas license, and BLS; NICU staff must have NRP and ICU staff ACLS. Acute care hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential by NBRC.
• Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification for NICU staff.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification for ICU staff.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment.
• Perform a range of cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Assess patients, interpret results, and suggest treatment.
• Maintain documentation and quality control measures.
• Communicate with physicians and nurses about patient care plans.
