Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a per diem, certified neonatal nurse practitioner to provide in-house coverage with our team of neonatologists at Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers, Florida.

The role includes attending high-risk deliveries, 12-hour shifts in a Level-III NICU, and rotations to Cape Coral Hospital. FL licensure and recent NICU experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• FL license required.
• Recent NICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour in-house clinical coverage in Level-III NICU (night shift availability preferred).
• Attend high-risk deliveries.
• Rotations to Cape Coral Hospital (Level-I NICU).
• Cover Level-1 delivery service and mother/baby area including normal newborn care.

Great opportunity for a per diem, certified, experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to work with our team of neonatologists and NNPs providing care at Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers, Florida.

Responsibilities

• The Lee Memorial Health System handles about 7,000 deliveries per year
• Our state-of-the art facility at Golisano Children's Hospital opened in May 2017 and boasts a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
• The Level-III NICU provides allservices except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO
• Providing 12-hour in-house clinical care in the Level-III NICU (night shift availability preferred)
• Attendance at high-risk deliveries
• Rotations to Cape Coral Hospital, a Level-I NICU
• Coverage of the Level-1 delivery service and mother/baby area including normal newborn care

Qualifications
