Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for the Tacoma area, joining a high-acuity Level III/IV NICU at Tacoma General Hospital. The role focuses on delivering exceptional newborn care within a collaborative NICU team.

The position offers a 24-hour in-house shift pattern and a 1-year orientation program designed for new graduates, including tuition reimbursement. Tacoma offers mountain access, no state income tax, and a vibrant Pacific Northwest lifestyle.

Qualifications

  • Current, board certified/eligible NNP specialty certification.
  • Minimum of a master's degree.
  • Active license to practice in Washington state preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide neonatal care in Level III/IV NICU with high-acuity patients.
  • Rotate through Level II nurseries in Auburn and Puyallup.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists and NICU team for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development.

Pay Range (Base Pay): $150,000 - $195,000 based on years of experience as licensed NNP.

Other Types of Pay: Bonus potential. Ask us about potential tuition reimbursement assistance.

Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Regular full-time team members are eligible for the following:

NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part-time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire. Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year.
