Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our Tacoma, WA NICU coverage network. We offer 24-hour in-house shifts in Level II, III NICUs with ongoing per diem partnership opportunities.

Candidates must hold current APRN National Specialty Certification, a Master’s Degree in Nursing, and an active Washington license in good standing. Local candidates within commuting distance are preferred.

Job description

Seeking ** Per Diem** Neonatal Nurse Practioners who would like to join our Tacoma WA Area NICU's

  • 24 Hour Inhouse Shifts
  • Level II, II and IV NICU
  • Prefer local candidates, within commute
  • Seeking ongoing per diem coverage partnership
  • Current APRN National Specialty Certification
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree
  • Seeking NNP's with Hospital NICU Level II and III Experience.
  • Active WA License in Good Standing

Pay Range (Hourly Pay): $72.00 - $94.00/hr based on years of experience.

Health Insurance: Pediatrix does not offer health insurance for team members in a Per Diem role.

Per-diem is defined as team members who are scheduled as needed and not on a consistent basis.

Retirement Benefits: Pediatrix does not offer retirement benefits for team members in a Per Diem role.

Paid Time Off: Pediatrix does not off paid time off for team members in a Per Diem role.

Paid Sick Leave: Pediatrix provides paid sick leave to team members in Washinton under Initiative 1433. Team members who do not accrue PTO are eligible to receive Washington Paid Sick and Safe Leave “PSSL” time in a lump sum.

Per Diem team members will accrue one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked. Team members begin to accrue sick leave upon hire. However, they cannot use accrued sick leave until their 90th day of employment. There is no annual cap on accrual; however, team members will be able to carry over up to 108 hours of unused paid sick leave the following year.

NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
