Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver health care services in collaboration with an attending physician. The APP focuses on preventive care and management of acute or stable chronic conditions, educating patients and families, and coordinating with other clinicians.

Requirements include Ohio APRN certification, MSN, and NP certification eligibility; neonatal APP experience is strongly preferred, with delivery room/OR resuscitation

Qualifications

• Current APRN license in Ohio
• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program eligible for certification exam
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing or NP-equivalent
• 0 years of relevant experience required
• 0-2 years of neonatal APP experience strongly preferred
• Experience with delivery room/OR resuscitation strongly preferred
• Graduate of PA-C program eligible for NCCPA exam
• Eligibility for State of Ohio PA licensure

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician
• Care for patients in acute and chronic phases, including education and counseling
• Promote health and provide referrals to other providers as appropriate
