Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year healthcare, clerical, or technical experience preferred or current nursing student.

• Good math skills for weighing/measuring milk and additives.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in weighing and measuring human milk and fortifiers according to diet orders.
• Prepare and label mother's own or donor milk for feeds.
• Maintain sanitation and proper storage temperatures for milk and supplies.
• Document milk preparation details and patient charges in the system.
• Communicate with care team and parents to ensure safe milk handling and storage.
• Monitor inventory and place orders for milk bank supplies.
• Enter orders accurately and minimize waste.
