Job summary

HonorHealth Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a PRN Night Shift Patient Care Technician for the Neonatal ICU. The role involves 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with self-scheduling and weekend/holiday rotations as part of the schedule.

You will assist with NICU patient care, monitor vital signs, and document care under licensed supervision. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months healthcare experience; BLS is required, CNA or EMT licenses

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Block 1 in Nursing or MA or Nursing Assistant (NA) or EMT or BHT, or 6 months healthcare experience in the last year required.
• 6 months in acute care experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CNA/EMT licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed caregiver.
• Record vital signs and intake/output; assist with activities of daily living and ambulation.
• Observe, report changes in patient condition and maintain accurate medical records.
• Answer questions from patients, families, or health care team members; participate in care planning as directed.
