Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.
• Healthcare Provider CPR biennial
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required upon hire
• One-year RN experience required
• Proficiency in developing nursing care plans, implementing care, and evaluating outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process: assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and document care.
• Develop and update written nursing plans of care.
• Coordinate patient, family, and health team in planning hospital and post-discharge care.
• Perform clinical nursing skills and administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
• Communicate patient status through documentation and with physicians and care team.
• Coordinate daily patient assignments and supervise care delivery by staff.
