Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current Maryland RN registration with the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
• Healthcare Provider CPR biennial certification.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) required upon hire for specialty areas.
• One-year RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Nursing Process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Develop and update nursing plans of care based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and IV therapy and monitor responses.
• Coordinate care with patient, family and health team members.
• Document status and plan of care in medical records.
• Provide patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel as appropriate.
