Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado seeks a Manager, Neonatal Advanced Practice to provide systemwide leadership for NICU APPs across multiple sites, including Aurora, Fort Collins, and other communities. The role focuses on operational alignment, policy application, and clinical standardization to improve outcomes.

You will supervise APP Leads, drive performance and resource optimization, and champion quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives across all care sites.

Qualifications

• RN license and APRN license with prescriptive authority
• Master's degree in NNP or equivalent
• 3 years APP clinical experience; 1 year leadership
• NRP/BLS certifications and related credentials

Responsibilities

• Provides systemwide operational leadership to ensure aligned implementation of policies and clinical standards across departments and partner sites.
• Oversees Neonatal APP Leads and APP teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Drives measurable clinical and quality outcomes using data and evidence-based practices.
• Advances organizational initiatives aligning with systemwide goals at department and partner sites.
• Optimizes staffing and resources across sites to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Leads APP development and performance management with coaching of leaders.
• Champions quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Strengthens cross-site coordination and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains evidence-based policies and guidelines for compliance and clinical integrity.
• Identifies and resolves complex operational challenges to support patient care and staff experience.
