Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health's Neonatal program seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver care to neonates, infants and young children in a multidisciplinary NICU setting. Qualifications
- APN license and RN license required.
- NNP or Pediatric Acute Care NP certification with NICU/inpatient experience expected.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions in collaboration with physicians.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with the healthcare team.
- Perform procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with nurses and other professionals for coordinated care.
- Communicate with patients and families about treatment plans and education.
- Stay current with medical guidelines and participate in education.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives as directed.
